2010 will mark the 10th year of the "I'm Ready for Summer" Mini-Triathlon. The "I'm Ready for Summer" Mini-Triathlon features individual and team competition. Individual competitors will swim 500 yards, bike 12.2 miles, and run 3.1 miles. Team competitors can consist of a 3-member team where one member swims, one member bikes, and one member runs. Teams of 2 may also be entered where one individual participates in two of the activities. Teams may consist of all men, all women or be co-ed.

What: "I'm Ready for Summer" Mini-Triathlon
When:Sunday, April 25, 2010
Start Time:

RACE START: 10:00 am

Packet pick-up: New SDSU Wellness Center, just west of the HPER
  • Saturday - 5:00 to 7:00 pm
  • Sunday - 8:00 am to 10:00 am
Informational meeting:
  • Sunday - 9:30 am

NOTE: Participants must enter swim time -- start time will be determined by swim time, not by finish time as in previous years.

Teams - AllSportCentral will provide Chip Timing Relay splits for each leg. The Chip must be worn on a Velcro strap around ankle and exchanged between team members with the transition area after crossing the timing mats.

NOTE: HELMETS ARE REQUIRED TO PARTICIPATE (biking only, of course).

Registration:

All registration will be done online at www.allsportcentral.com.

Registration will end Friday, April 23rd at noon. There will be absolutely no walk-up registration.

Team Captains - Must register entire team during registration or login with user account and select "TEAM ROSTER MANAGEMENT" from your athlete home page to update teams.

Awards: Individual Competition - Awards are given to the top male and top female finishers in each division.

Team Competition - Awards are given to the top men's, women's and co-ed teams in each relay division.

Race Course: Swim (indoors) 500 yards, Bike 12.2 miles, & Run 5K
